Based on updated weather forecasts and continuing concern over dangerously frigid temperatures, Oakland University will extend its planned closure of campuses on Thursday, January 31, to include the entire day.
In accordance with Policy 482 – University Closing, all classes and most activities at the University’s main campus and at OU Macomb will be canceled and all but essential University operations will cease. Campus community members and Golden Grizzlies supporters are advised that the men’s basketball game set for 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Orena will take place as scheduled.
The University is scheduled to resume normal operations at 5 a.m. on Friday, February 1. For updates, visit oupolice.com. For more information about University closings, refer to Policy 482 – University Closing, or visit the OU website.
