OU ADVISORY: Kresge Library operations update

February 7, 2019 | 10:18 am
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Kresge Library will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, with limited hours of operation and limited availability of some services. The library will be open until midnight on Thursday, and then will be open daily from 7:30 a.m. to midnight between Friday, February 8, and the end of the winter break on Sunday, February 24.

It remains unclear at this point when the library will be able to resume full operations on a 24-hour basis. A decision will be made when all areas affected by flooding have been remediated and deemed safe for public use.
Areas of the library that are currently inaccessible include Frankie’s Cafe, some meeting and study rooms, and the entire lower floor.

In addition, some Library services – including Archives and Special Collections access, the Makerspace and others – may be offline or available on a limited basis until further notice. Campus community members should contact departments directly for additional information.

Updates and additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
