In conjunction with an Oakland County household hazardous waste collection event taking place on campus, use of South Oakland Drive and Library Drive south of the traffic circle at Pioneer Drive will be restricted to NoHaz participants between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 23. All other campus community members and visitors will be directed to use other campus entrances.
In addition, parking lot P-37 will be restricted to NoHaz participants and lot P-35 will be closed to provide space for waste collection support services. Commuters using eastboound and westbound Pioneer Drive will not be able to access Library Drive south of the traffic circle, as no southbound traffic will be permitted during the collection event.
Traffic on the south side of campus is expected to be heavy throughout the morning and afternoon on Saturday. Campus commuters and visitors are advised to adjust travel plans and drive times accordingly.
