An investigation by the Oakland University Police Department has led to the warrant and arrest of Howard Trammell for robbery – unarmed. The charge stems from an incident that occurred near the Ann V. Nicholson campus apartments on December 1.
Trammell, a 19-year-old from Rochester Hills, Mich., was arraigned on December 8 at the 52-3 District Court before Magistrate Marie A. Soma. A not guilty plea was entered on Trammell’s behalf and his bond was set at $15,000 cash. A probable cause conference is set for December 21 at 1:15 p.m. at the 52-3 District Court before Judge Nancy Tolwin Carniak. Trammell remains lodged at the Oakland County Jail.
The crime of robbery – unarmed is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 15 years.
